Barbara J. Aaron

Barbara J. Aaron, a 23-year veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and long-time resident of Warner Robins, has served on the Board since 1994.

Ms. Aaron, a combat veteran of the Vietnam and Persian Gulf Wars, has served as Board Chair twice, setting the precedent as the first woman and the first African-American to serve in that position.

Ms. Aaron, who served in combat units that received meritorious unit citations and commendations, retired from the Marine Corps in 1993 at the rank of Master Sergeant.
